Idris Okafor is a London-based photographer with an architect's patience for light. He shoots concrete at the exact hour the sun rakes across it, turning board-marked walls into something close to abstraction. The balcony grids, walkways and cantilevers of brutalist Britain are his territory. His letterpress pieces carry the same instinct: a single strong form, a great deal of breathing room, and nothing that does not need to be there.
