Cryptocurrency Indices on S&P and DOW Jones
Kicking off this week, something all degens have been waiting for. Cryptocurrencies introduced to the masses. The S&P Dow Jones are developing digital asset indices to launch as early as next year. Reports suggest there are over 550 coins being considered.

Yearn Acquisitions & Mergers
Yearn continues its impressive tear through the DeFi ecosystem. Several mergers, partnerships, and acquisitions for the protocol which continues to reach new levels of composability and integration. Andre, and the Yearn team, are the essence of Shippin’ and Drippin’.
Ripple Airdrop
Despite lack of announcement from Ripple, there is a snapshot taking place 2020/12/11 at 10:00 PM (UTC) for all Ripple holders. At this time, $XRP holders will be airdropped $SPARK tokens. It is unclear the ratio of XRP:SPARK but multiple exchanges have announced support of the airdrop for coins held on exchange.
STABLE Act Proposal
Cryptocurrency continues to capture the attention of regulators. This time it is stablecoins that are taking the heat. Three members of the US congress proposed a bill to require banking charters for all stablecoin issuers. They cited discriminatory practices as reasoning for the bill. Several members from the crypto community discussed potential implications of the bill; ultimately, the proposal seems to be spawn from a confused perspective and consensus among the community reveals — there is no reason to be upset.
Visa Bitcoin Rewards Card
The credit card goliath is entering the crypto space. Visa has announced a partnership with BlockFi that will reward spenders with Bitcoin. Details are still getting ironed out on terms and conditions of the card. In the meantime, BlockFi has launched their waiting list where prospective cardholders can hold their spot in line.
